Social Media Plan
First Social Media Platform Utilized
Instagram was chosen for its strong presence among college students, offering a versatile platform to share photos, videos, and stories that highlight the program’s services. Its robust analytics and interactive features (e.g., polls, Q&A, links) allow direct communication with followers and precise tracking of engagement metrics.
Content will include:
• Visual posts and carousels showcasing services like mental health support, fitness classes, and participant success stories.
• Interactive stories with polls and Q&A sessions to engage followers and gather feedback on their wellness needs.
• Reels featuring quick wellness tips, student testimonials, and highlights of events like the Wellness Day.

Posts will be scheduled for peak engagement, typically mid-morning and late evening. Weekly updates keep content fresh, and a consistent posting schedule will maintain audience interest.

Second Social Media Platform Utilized
TikTok was selected due to its popularity with the 18-24-year-old demographic. The platform’s short-form video content is ideal for engaging students in creative, entertaining, and educational ways. TikTok also has a higher potential for viral content, increasing the
likelihood of reaching a broader audience.
Content will include:

• Short videos that are fun and educational, such as “A Day in the Life” of a wellness
program participant or quick demonstrations of mindfulness exercises.
• Challenges and trends related to wellness, like a fitness challenge, to encourage
participation and sharing among students.
• Collaborations with student influencers to reach a wider audience and build
credibility within the student community.
Posting will occur at times when students are most active, such as after class hours and on weekends, ensuring maximum reach.
