Executive Summary
The IU Indianapolis Wellness Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to improve the overall well-being of students by addressing their physical, mental, and social health needs. Leveraging the university’s resources and insights into the unique challenges of a diverse, commuter-heavy student population, the program focuses on fostering a culture of wellness through accessible fitness classes, mental health support, and engaging community events. A targeted marketing strategy using Instagram and TikTok will ensure students are informed and encouraged to participate, meeting them where they are most active online. By prioritizing inclusivity and engagement, the program aims to enhance student success and retention through improved health outcomes and a strengthened sense of community.
To evaluate success, the program will track metrics such as social media engagement, participation rates, and feedback from students to continuously adapt and optimize services. Contingency plans, including adjustments to marketing tactics and program offerings, will ensure flexibility in response to unforeseen challenges.
